These very very important things that slip our minds. For that we apologize for not trafficking it through the appropriate channels, but we hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

While the seven year old in me is screaming to kick this article off with NANANANNANANANNANANANANNA BAAAAATMAAAAAAN. I’m mature as hell and will refrain from directly doing so. That being said, insert some nananas and lets get this on a roll. What we have for you today is the first mainstream game I’ve covered and the one I am most looking forward to in the  near future. Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.

I’ve played plenty of lego games but never really gone in for them you know? This one however seems to be the culmination of every awesome aspect of every lego game before it. It’s simple math really. Batman + Legos = a juggernaut that prints money.

Basic story here is that the D.C. super heroes are going to trot off and collect Green Lantern rings in an attempt to stop Lex Luthor and the Joker. You’ll be able to unlock 150 different characters. You get to play as Batman! AND they have an Adam West mode! Complete with super awesome onomatopoeia action! What could make that better? The acting talents of Burt Ward! That’s what the hell could make this better! As if that wasn’t enough for your tender nature, they also have a Lego version of the 1966 Batmobile!! WHAAAT?! robin_default_01 The spiffy might as well write itself, but it doesn’t! This game is going to be accessible on just about every console you could want Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 , PlayStation 3 , PS Vita , Wii U , 3DS and PC. I can’t stop talking about this game. I need it you need it. Stop reading this  and go get it! – You know. Later in the fall. When it comes out.

Don’t forget to follow me on Twitter @grimmsgaming and/or comment below. It could totally be worth it if I could think of anything funny to say or useful.

If you’re looking for more teasers for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Unity, you’ve found them. Today’s shots are a mix of concept art and in game pics. We’ve got everything from views of palatial estates to an enticing look at multiple assassins for coop. For my taste I could stand for the city to be a little more gritty, but so far the unwashed masses are looking fantastic.  And yes, we have a tasty video for you too.  Life is good, no?

evolve

Everything seems to be shaping up nicely for the next 2k & Turtle Rock collaboration. The same two studios brought us the action packed Left 4 Dead, that occupied many an hours on most of our consoles. Now they are rolling out their new game Evolve, a game that explores the possibilities of having four players against one player controlled monster. Evolve will be release globaly on October 21st of this year for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.

Pre-ordering from participating retailers will get you the Savage Goliath skin at launch, and a new monster character when available after release. Personally it is one of the games that is top on my list of pre-orders

From our experiences with the game at PAX EAST the game is living up to all of the hyper provided. As the monster is plays on it grows stronger, levelling up and becoming more difficult with more abilities to accompany the growth. Using savage abilities and an intuitive animal sense to kill your human enemies. Evolve depends on heavy team work, knowing your roll and fulfilling that spot on your team to make the beast easier to take down. Or choose one of four hunter classes (Trapper, Support, Assault and Medic) and team up to take down the beast on the planet Shear, where flora and fauna act as an adversary to man and monster alike. Level up to unlock new hunter or monster characters as well as upgrades, skins and perks. Earn your infamy on the leaderboards and become the apex predator.

Evolve is set on an alien planet in the distant future, and the players take on their play with adrenaline-pumping gameplay. On launch there are more than a dozen maps, providing gamers with incredible gameplay scenarios all to follow suit with the beautiful play style and variety making the replay value limitless.
